Freshmen are using toothpicks and white glue to build bridges according to the plans they had to draw up. The groups have company names and have to keep a balance sheet because they write out checks to buy supplies. They also have to keep a daily journal of what was accomplished each day.

As many of you expected, the Small Schools National tournament has been cancelled for this year. It is a disappointing end to a very successful season for our National qualifying Quiz Bowlers who shared this honor with only one other Wisconsin small school.

Good Wednesday afternoon Band parents and students! Just a reminder to sanitize your instruments before playing them! Here are a couple tips: 1. Use sterilizing spray on the case, but make sure it is safe for the cloth and foam inside! 2. Sanitizing wipes can work on just about everything outside of wooden instruments. To check if an instrument is truly wooden, check the inside for grain marks. Some manufacturers add false grains to make it look wooden. That’s all for today, but keep ‘practicing’ good sanitizing measures to keep those covid blues at bay! Until next time, Mr. Puffer
