8th Grade FCS students recently made pies for the PI Day celebration held in AP Calc. Here are a few photos of the efforts!!

Good Wednesday afternoon Band parents and students!
Just a reminder to sanitize your instruments before playing them! Here are a couple tips:
1. Use sterilizing spray on the case, but make sure it is safe for the cloth and foam inside!
2. Sanitizing wipes can work on just about everything outside of wooden instruments. To check if an instrument is truly wooden, check the inside for grain marks. Some manufacturers add false grains to make it look wooden.
That’s all for today, but keep ‘practicing’ good sanitizing measures to keep those covid blues at bay!
Until next time,
Mr. Puffer

Reading with first grade friends. Stay strong my friends.

Spring has sprung in the greenhouse! I will be having a flower sale closer to Mother’s Day, so stay tuned. We have petunias, geraniums, coleus, gerber daisies, vegetables, and more.

The 2nd graders enjoyed Read Across America by receiving a new book and having a special guest come read to them!

What would you do in the Civil War if you had General Lee’s entire plan for the Battle of Antietam (Sharpsburg)? US 1 had to plan as if they were General McClellan and had this information.

Fifth grade students spent some time investigating and exploring volumes this week!

At this time, we are resuming our post on the great things our students and staff have been doing the last couple of weeks. Please keep checking our media for these and continue updates on COVID 19 situation.

What is social distancing?
