Third grade is working on making Lego Self-Portraits. When creating my example right after my wedding, Ms.Borchardt's class encouraged me to make it look like my wedding! Here is the start of my Lego Wedding Self-Portrait.... with happy husband in the back! Students are still adjusting to the new name.... and so am I!
2nd grade students are working together to keep the balloon in the air for 100 seconds on the 100th day of school!
2nd graders had a great time making 100 piece marshmallow/toothpick creations, completing 100 second challenges, and dancing to a 100th Day of School song!!

For the United States History 1 class students created their own War of 1812 frigates.
Mrs.Haines’s students are enjoying learning and take pride in their accomplishments! Keep working hard.
Mrs. Nowak’s kindergartners have been working with numbers from 1-100. Through different activities such as putting together this 1-100 puzzle and through 100-Day Bingo, they have been gaining number sense in these larger numbers.
Celebrating the 100ish day of school with the 100 year old lady, 100 number math lines, 100 groups, and 100 piece snacks (among other things!). 100 days smarter!
From walking the red carpet at lunch with their VIP passes to creating rockstar names and portraits, these 3rd graders shined during the Rock Your School event! They were challenged to share kindness with and between each other throughout the week and they did exactly that! They are true educational rockstars. 🤩
4th graders had a blast enjoying pj’s, sharing valentines, and playing bingo! Our 100th-ish day of school was AWESOME!!!
The School District of Athens will be partaking in virtual learning Monday February 15th instead of attending school. After school activities will continue as scheduled.
