Hello! Thanks for checking out the Athens School District Counseling page.

The Athens counseling program is dedicated to enhancing the ability of all students. This is achieved through supporting student growth in the three domains of student development: academic, personal/social, and career. If there is a resource you can't find, please let me know and I'll make sure to add it to our page.

What Are ACP's?

Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-supported process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post secondary success, obtained through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills.

What ACP means for the Athens School District:

Academic and Career Planning in Athens is centered around a student's journey to get to know themselves, explore their possibilities and plan for their future. The goal is for students to go out into the world with self-awareness, good planning for their future, and the skills to become productive citizens. ACP activities will take place during BLC (Resource) each week.
