The fifth grade went on a field trip to Medford for the Taylor County Youth Expo! This day was designed to introduce fifth graders to the outdoors and strengthen their relationship with wildlife and our natural world. Students were exposed to a large variety of outdoor activities, and they had “hands-on” opportunities to
participate in those activities!

1st graders put their writing skills to work outside today in the beautiful weather!

Monday, May 22 was the final Bedazzling Blue Jay Family Fun Night. Summer learning tips were shared to keep brains active, along with literacy websites from the ITLC department that will remain active for families to access. Students from Kindergarten through 5th grade presented jokes and comedy skits to showcase oral reading fluency. Oversized-clothing relay races were also a part of the evening to remind families to keep bodies active over summer as well.
