February is a busy month for the Art Department! I will be submitting art work to the Woodson Art Museum's 47th Annual Student Art Exhibition, the Marawood Conference Art Exhibition, as well as curating the Art Show portion of the Fine Arts Fest here in Athens. So much happening for our students! I hope you are able to join in the celebration of their hard work and creativity at all three of these shows! Information is on the photos.

The Fourth graders at AES have been learning about Native Americans living in Wisconsin. They were asked to choose a Native American group , build the home they lived in and write a 5 sentence summary about that group. Here are some of their projects. They did an amazing job creating their wigwams and longhouses.
